A home that is new Trojan Athletes!
The much opening that is anticipated of John McKay Center is fast approaching! Annually . 5 within the making, the newest athletic center and office complex are starting its doorways to students and athletes come july 1st. The McKay Center will serve while the true house for Trojan athletics and house a wide range of training facilities, including a training football industry within the basement level!

Summer Olympics
The opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics is coming this Friday! Whether you love watching individual events or team events, there’s one thing for everybody.
The London Olympics present an opportunity also to cheer on current and former Trojans! There may well be more than 30 athletes participating in sports such as water polo, volleyball, and track representing the Trojan family members. There may also be a number of present USC coaches who is lending their coaching expertise during the games that are olympic.
USC has a long tradition of planning Olympic athletes. From 1904 to 2008, there have been nearly 400 athletes whom either attended the university before, during, or after their Olympic competition. USC has delivered more athletes to the Olympics than any other college and our athletes have gained a grand total of 262 medals.
The Olympics certainly are a time to cheer on our country’s athletes and also unite together on a platform that is global. We enjoy watching the beach volleyball matches and I’m excited to see how far the two former Trojans contending in beach volleyball go! look out for each of USC’s many Olympic competitors—they just might bring house the gold.
The Expo Line is Finally Open!!!
After six years of anticipation the expansion of Los Angeles’s light train train system (LA Metro) has finally opened. The Expo Line could be the perfect method for USC students, staff, and faculty to get around the city without getting behind the wheel. The new line has three stops straight next door from our campus. One end is on the northeast side of campus while the other two are on the south side of campus.
By utilising the Expo Line, students can get more or less anywhere in the town and take complete benefit of what Los Angeles is offering. It’s simply a short ride that is five-minute the Expo Line to the LA Metro Station and from there students can link to another light rail train lines that operate through the city.
Some members of our office have already traded in their cardinal and parking that is gold for the monthly metro pass to overcome their commutes to work. Welcome Back, Pupils!
